A Short Story
I once bought a giant poster of Vincent
Van Gogh's "Starry Starry Night", pasted it onto cardboard,
cut holes for my face and hands and dressed as a painting for Halloween.
At the party, people quietly stood in front of me for long
periods of time, just smiling. Captured, they would walk away looking
out the corner of their eye. I experienced so many loving gazes that night,
it changed me.
